So, I had dinner with Jack - my mentor from days as an art student - last night and that was lovely. :)  But the best part is that, afterwards, I was able to sit in on the evening figure drawing class. Oh, I was in my happy place!  Almost three hours of drawing with a live model for the first time in HOW LONG?  ^__^  It was so much fun, I've decided to make that my regular Tuesday night "thing," even if Jack and I can't meet for dinner, I'll go to class.  I only wish I could go to the Thursday session, too.  But, that's when both of my seminars are - back to back, 3:30 until 9:30pm.  Bleh. But still!  Drawing! =D  Plus, Jack said I wasn't v

Wow... Almost two years since a journal update, and no new art in aaaages.  *lol* Now that I have a proper studio-work space again, perhaps there'll be some new stuff up eventually. ^_^

Have recently returned from a nice long vacation in England.  I'm still sorting through photos and the like on the computer, but a few of them might eventually make it onto here in some form or another. Hopefully, I'll be getting into the studio a bit more this month.  The big arts festival is coming up next month, and I have a few things to finish/ideas for new projects to get done by then.  Here's hoping something might actually sell. *lol* <3 to all.

oooh, a fav!
Of course! It's really pretty! It just struck me for some reason. It looks like it should be a larger painting than what you say - but still, so prety.
I hear ya. It's really small. I need to figure out how to create similar effects on a larger scale, but I think I'd need a palette knife that's like, 2' wide and a whole crapton of paint. =P
wow!! i love your art!! i've been wanting to learn how to paint sooo badly, but i have neither the time or money to experiment... oh well.

much love your way!!!
Thank you so much for the compliment! =^.^=

For my oils, I'm having to re-learn how to paint, since it's been three years since I last picked up a brush. Hopefully though, I'll be doing more drawings and watercolors soon.

Well, keep working with the time and materials that are accessible and someday, who knows? ^.^ (Goodness knows I had to wait long enough to get back to my painting. I have oodles of sketches lying about, though.)

Much love! ^_^
Your stuff is looking really good. Stay warm and keep it up ^^
Working on it. ^.^
The 'no heat in the studio' problem should be fixed soon - now if we can just get some at work! *LOL*
